OnQ Auditions! Day of Absence & Kiss My Black Angst

OnQ is pleased to announce auditions for Day of Absence by Douglas Turner Ward, directed by Quentin Talley & Kiss My Black Angst, directed by Stacey Rose. This production will rehearse weekday evenings and weekend afternoons beginning Oct. 1st, 2016 thru Oct. 24th, 2016. Performances will be Oct. 24th - Nov. 4th. All roles are compensated.


Auditions for all roles will be held on Saturday, Aug. 27th & Sunday, Aug. 28th from Noon-3pm at JCSU Arts Factory, 1545 West Trade Street. To book an audition time, please contact Production Manager, Mike Jones at Please see audition requirements listed below.

Director Quentin Talley will be casting 13 African American actors (7m, 6w) and a caucasian actor for day of absence (1m) ​ ​

Director Stacey Rose will be casting the following roles for KMBA2 : 2 -Black Female Teens - Early 20s | 2 Black Male Teens - Early 20s
| 2 -Black Female 20s - 30s | 2 -Black Male 20 - 30s | 1 White Female Middle 40s - 60s | White Female 20s - 30s | White Male 20s - 30 ​
